Carolyn is a Company Director at a Process Safety Consultancy, where she specialises in communicating complex risk assessments and advancing environmental sustainability. She holds professional recognition as both a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Director.

Since moving to Huxley in 2010, Carolyn has been deeply involved in village life. She serves as Secretary of the Happy Days committee, helping to organise the annual village fête and a variety of other community events. She is also a Trustee of Huxley Village Hall and played an active role in shaping the Neighbourhood Development Plan as part of the working group.

In 2023, Carolyn joined the Parish Council, driven by her commitment to fostering a strong sense of community—one of the key reasons she chose to settle in the village. She is especially passionate about supporting local environmental initiatives and strengthening community connections.
